Victoria's Secret Intense: Secondary Packaging Design
I was part of a dynamic team entrusted with creating the secondary packaging for Victoria's Secret's sensational fragrance, 'Intense.' Our objective was to align the packaging with the allure of the primary bottle and capture the essence of this sexiest new launch.
'Intense' was introduced in September 2016 as a provocative and sophisticated scent, featuring notes of salted praline coconut, creamy florals, and suede musk. Inspired by these elements and the face of the fragrance Adriana Lima our team meticulously designed a range of secondary packaging, including a gift set, ancillaries, and a rollerball.
The result was a harmonious collection of secondary packaging that seamlessly complemented the primary bottle and extended the 'Intense' narrative into a tangible and immersive experience.
We meticulously analyzed each fragrance's individual elements, reimagining them with a fresh yet coherent aesthetic that respected their unique character while enhancing the prominence of the Victoria's Secret brand. This required a delicate balance between retaining the individuality of each fragrance and aligning them with the overarching brand identity.
Leveraging a standardized color palette, unified typography, and a strategic layout, we ensured that the brand name always took center stage, reinforcing Victoria's Secret's position in the market. However, we made sure to preserve each fragrance's individual charm, creating a harmonious blend of consistency and variety.
